About the Captain

Fresh, saltwater, even frozen water, it all means one thing… FISH.  Dan has enjoyed a lifetime passion for outdoor sports.  A love for all species, the sport fishing tradition, and an eye toward conservation has been passed down through the generations.  Fishing with his father and grandfather early on, he turned pro in the late 90’s.  Working his way through an extensive training program he obtained his USCG 50 Ton Master’s license.  As captain and crew on other local charter boats, he’d spent several years honing his saltwater expertise.

The purchase of the Amber Olive gave an opportunity to captain a craft of his own.  Captain Dan welcomes a chance to provide you with a day of fishing, sightseeing, whale watching or whatever your pleasure may be off the shores of New Hampshire.
